MUSCLES: flexor carpi radialis, ulnaris, and the palmaris longus
REFERRAL: Pain is felt in the lateral elbow
COMMENTS:
Golfer's
elbow, or medial epicondylitis, does not just affect golfers. Any strain
of the common flexor tendon causes this injury. Cross fiber frictioning the tendon and then applying ice will help a lot. Be very careful of the
ulnar nerve, which passes between the medial epicondyle and the
olecrannon process. If your client feels tingling in their last two
fingers, you are hitting the nerve.
